The book is devoted to studying fiction of N.Nekrasov as a special stage in the development of his literary style. The authors inquire into the least examined issues of the writer's poetics: its connection with traditions of European and Russian literatures (Hoffman, Gogol), heterogeneity of artistic orientation of the young prosaic that led to the style "dialogism", and "literariness" as a feature of Nekrasov's esthetic outlook saved its meaning for his creativity as a whole.
