The book is devoted to little-known or unknown episodes from the history of Polish and Russian literary relations of the XVIIth - the beginning of the XIXth centuries. Among the works analyzed there are Russian translations of Polish writers of the Age of Renaissance, Baroque and Enlightenment: Jan Kochanowski, Matsei Sarbewski, Watslaw Pototski, Julian Niemcewicz, Adam Naruszewicz, Frantishak Karpinski and others.
