The authors state that the Education for Sustainable Development (ecological educational program created after the Summit in Rio de Janeiro, 1992) can hardly help people to adopt "environmentally sustainable" way of life, and offer solutions for its improvement, which lie in the study of economic issues of globalization, use of PR and introduction of people to those technologies that provide high quality of living with the reduced resources consumption.
