The last part of the book on the history of the Jews of Belarus. And although Belarus is a country with a young history, Jews appeared on these lands a long time ago. And that is why the chain “Jewish communities: Lithuania (not Lietuva!) - Grand Duchy of Lithuania - Northwest Territory - Belarus” can and should take an honorable place among the world famous Jewish communities of Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and Poland. However, for some reason, all authors writing about the history of Jews, after Polish Jewry, go directly to the Jews of the Russian Empire, forgetting, intentionally or unknowingly, that the latter gathered and grew out of the Jews of Lithuania (not Lietuva) and the Crown (and partly Ukraine) in a single Commonwealth. And how the Jews of Lithuania (Belarus) developed and dissociated themselves from the Jews of Poland within the Commonwealth, and there are our "Frescoes ...". Perhaps, earlier, another reader, historian or critic formed a different opinion than the author - well, "... Frescoes ..." do not claim to be the ultimate truth. How many people - so many and ... Well, this is the opinion of the author.
