The book attests to Plamen Doinov's lyrical and critical presence in Bulgarian culture over the last 30 years as seen by four other major critics and researchers: Antoaneta Alipieva, Antonia Velkova-Gaidardzhieva, Mitko Novkov and Mihail Nedelchev. This select group of voices have read Doinov's works over the years and have interpreted them in the context of the present day and from a historical perspective. The first review included in the compilation dates back to 1997 and the last one was written in 2019. During the period defined by those two dates, the four voices have gradually elucidated the essence of a remarkable literary career. The book includes a complete bibliography of Plamen Doinov.
