The monograph examines the theoretical and legal approaches to determining the nature of state (local) guarantees, the legal basis for the provision of public guarantees and the legal procedure for providing public guarantees in Ukraine. The resulting conclusions allow us to show not only some shortcomings in the financial and legal regulation of state (local) guarantees in Ukraine at the present stage, but also to identify the reasons for their emergence and ways to improve this regulation.
