Irene Rozdobudko (1962) is a Ukrainian writer, illustrator and screenwriter. Prior to her writing and screenwriting career, she also wrote several Russian-language poetry collections and worked as a journalist. Laureate (2000, 2001) and winner (2005) of the literary competitions "Coronation of the Word". Special award of the competition "Coronation of the Word 2011" in the nomination "Screenplays" for "Cherry Orchard…" (with Oles Sanin). winner of the Grand Coronation for the novel Faride (2021). Award "Golden Writer of Ukraine" (2012). Finalist of the Shevchenko Prize in the nomination "Literature" (2019).
