On October 7 (October 20), 1916, an explosion was heard in Sevastopol in the early morning - it exploded the powder magazine on the newest ship "Empress Maria". The ship sank. Of the 1200 crew members, 226 people died, 232 were injured or burned. Three most likely versions were considered: spontaneous combustion of gunpowder, negligence in handling fire or gunpowder, and, finally, sabotage. Until now, the ending of the "Empress Maria" remains a mystery and has haunted historians for 105 years. The book is written in the form of a film script and contains 90 scenes.
