Russian export-import flows as reflected in Russian customhouse statistics were compared to the corresponding import-export flows of partner countries as fixed in International Trade and OECD. Comparison was made in quantity, value and unit value of export (import). The discrepancies in the two sets of statistical data were appraised and systematically described. 89 import commodities and 35 export commodities were included into the analysis. Analysis grasps the period 1996-2001.
