The book presents the results of many years of research on the reconstruction of the chronology of the first Russian-Mongol battles in the 1920s and 1930s of the XIII century. Using modern and various methods of historical and chronological research of the dating indications of ancient Russian sources, the authors undertake the first attempt in domestic science to recreate a reliable chronology of the beginning of the Mongol invasion of Russian lands, which fundamentally changed the entire course of our history.
