Brana Cvetkovic (1874—1942) was an actor, director, theater manager, scenographer, caricaturist, illustrator, children's poet, storyteller and translator. He published only one book, "The Dam for Children in Words and Pictures" at the end of 1934. Branislav Cvetkovic is one of the initiators of "Politics for Children", in which he worked for a whole decade before the Second World War, and is one of the most productive poets in Serbian children's literature of the first half of the twentieth century.
