During the scientific examination and systematization of the fire-arms in the collection of the Armory Museum in Moscow Kremlin, a group, which counts with a hundred of works by the English and Scottish craftsmen, was discovered. All the exhibits come from the main collection, formed in the course of the XVIIth – XIXth centuries, except for the items, which were received by the museum in the Soviet time.
The research involved examination of the Armory Museum’s archive documents, which are kept now in the Russian State Archive of the Ancient Documents.
