The book describes the characteristics of useful plant groups of the Kabardino- Balkar Republic. It presents the results of long-term ecological and biological studies of resource species characteristics. Thirty-five species were studied, including their life forms, ontogenetic and seasonal development, variability of morphological features and dynamics of population demographic parameters, seed and vegetative reproduction in different growing conditions. The authors assessed the current state of populations and described the problems related to the rational use of economically valuable plant species.
