The renowned author of the repeatedly reprinted The Legends of the Ancients Natalia Koroleva has written several historical stories and novels that, unfortunately, are still not familiar to the modern reader. But it's a matter of time. This edition includes two short stories, the events of which take place during the time of the Roman Emperor Publius Elius Adriano (117-138 pp.).
The Tale of Shadows was published in 1938 and was last reissued in 1991. Instead, its sequel - "The Last God" - remained in the manuscript in the Prague archive and is now published for the first time.
