The book provides historical information on the formation and development of the emblematic noble families of the small-sized Galician Ukrainian nobility, which at one time was a peculiar phenomenon of European, and subsequently - world history. The places and ways of migration processes of this community are illustrated by the examples of representatives of noble families, who were mostly protected by the arms of Sas, Korczak, Abdank, Leliva. At the new settlement, these representatives relied on their identity - a historical memory that helped them predict, plan and design their future. Their strong moral and ethical stance facilitated the reconciliation of their own patriotic beliefs, even with the radical views of some of the local communities to which the fate of Ukrainian immigrants attracted.
