Clergyman Pavel Florensky was an outstanding orthodox thinker of the beginning of the XXth century, as well as a theologian, historian, philologist, expert in art, founder of the Trinity Lavra of St.Sergius museum, mathematician, physicist, electrical engineer and inventor. Through all his life and creative work he was trying to preach Christ’s truth. Like thousands of other priests, Pavel was sentenced to death by wrongful accusation. In 1937 he was shot to death.
