(April 24, 1994) Ostap Ukrainets was born in the city of Kalush in the Carpathians. He graduated from three classes of the local secondary school, after which he moved to Ivano-Frankivsk, which he considers his hometown. A graduate of the Ukrainian Gymnasium № 1. In 2012 he entered the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy of Philology and moved to Kyiv. At the same time he began translating.
Since 2013, together with his girlfriend and colleague (now his wife) Kateryna Dudka, he has been collaborating with various Ukrainian publishing houses. He began writing prose in 2016, and within a year he had finished his first major text - a historical novel about Stanislavov "Malchut". Among the works translated by Ostap Ukrain - a poem by TS Eliot "Barren Land", a number of novels by GF Lovecraft, books by E. Hunter and N. Stevenson.
In 2018, the second novel by Trans was published, at the same time Ostap Ukrainets returned to the theme started in the novel Malchut, and in 2019 the third novel, The Crusade Office, appeared.
