The dictionary includes more than 200 articles devoted to oikonyms, i.e. the names of the settlements of the territory of modern and historical residence of the Karelians-Ludiks in the Onega region and the northern Svir region. Among them are the names of both well-known populated places in southern Karelia (Kondopoga, the villages of Pryazha, Svyatozero, Konchezero, Yanishpole, etc.), and small villages, many of which have already disappeared from the map of Karelia, but continue to live in the memory of their former inhabitants (Utuki, Vashakovo, Pryakki, etc.). Each dictionary entry includes the Russian and Karelian names of the settlement.
