This scientific publication is a bilingual dictionary of Russian borrowings of the Bashkir language. The dictionary includes words borrowed from the Russian language in the pre-Soviet era, used in both literary and colloquial languages. A distinctive feature of this work is the wide use of historical-comparative and etymological analyzes of the early borrowed Russian vocabulary existing in the Bashkir language with the most complete coverage in terms of determining the period of their borrowing based on various written sources and historical documents, as well as identifying derivatives of borrowings in the literary language and dialects.
