This work considers the results of the implementation of the State Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Far Eastern Federal District for the period up to 2025. The analysis touches upon the data of the period from 2014 to 2019. The authors studied the macroeconomic dynamics, investment activity, migration, personal income, social infrastructure, as well as problems and prospects of certain sectors and spheres of the economy of the Far Eastern Federal District such as transport, energy and network economy, mineral resources and forestry sectors, foreign trade, population formation, housing construction, and communal services. A comparative analysis of actual and program indicators of development, as well as of responses of individual sectors and spheres of the socio-economic system of the region to institutional innovations in the period from 2015 to 2019 was conducted. The authors justify the adjustment and/or supplement
of the set of state regulatory measures in the form of support and promotion
of development in the main sectors and areas of the socio-economic system of the
region.
