The author of this unique book is a Russian writer and journalist, participant of the Patriotic War of 1812 Sergei Glinka (1775-1847). He presents a detailed description of Armenians' migration to Russian Empire at the first half of the XIX century. Some of the events pictured in the title were eye-witnessed by the author.
