Our 1984: communism, control, corruption... "Deficit" was a script, then a movie - a real one, by those who project them on the big screen. The film was shot at the "Boyana" film studio in the summer of 1989, and many people thought that it would never see the light of day. He was very brave. Until now, such a film dealing with corruption in the "developed socialist society" had not been made in Bulgaria, it was released at the end of the year - a few days after November 10. Now the opinions were that he was very "soft"...
...The film tried to tell about the real and moral deficit in Bulgaria - sometime in the mid-1980s. However, what happened then deserves attention even today - when we have moved away from that period and many people have forgotten or idealized life back then.
