Political and socio-economic reasons of emigration from Dagestan on different stages of its history are revealed in the book. The publication includes as well the characteristics of Dagestani diaspora in the foreign countries, who has survived the tragedy, unknown in their homeland. The author builds his narration, making use of archival sources, results of researches carried out by Dagestani and foreign scientists, personal impressions after meetings with compatriots in different countries of the world.
