The book examines cultural entrepreneurship in the context of the rapid technological, economic and cultural changes in contemporary society. It looks at the role of cultural entrepreneurs in developing and sustaining the cultural and creative sectors, innovative practices in the field of culture, new business models and forms of organization, and changes in the production, distribution and promotion of cultural products and services. The author Nevena Dobreva studied culturology at Sofia University in Bulgaria and earned a master's degree in media culture from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. She is co-founder and chairperson of the Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Culture and Education.
