Modern extremism has become one of the most acute problems seriously destabilizing the social situation. At the present time there continue to be identified illegal armed and paramilitary forces, whose activity has very bold and aggressive nature. There are increasing numbers of groups and associations that pursue extremist targets, based on xenophobia (skinheads, Sharp, fans, etc.), and there is a danger of joining extremist movements to the financial, commercial and criminal structures. There have been registered cases of penetration of extremist-minded persons into public authorities. All this testifies the relevance of the proposed topics for discussion.
