As part of the history and scientific material of political ideas in Croatia, the conservative revolution during the Weimar Republic (1919-1933) is still almost unknown. Given the paradoxical attempt to merge conservatism with revolutionaryism, the German Conservative Revolution of the Weimar Republic was indeed a bold attempt to synthesize revolutionary strategy and conservative thought, articulating the ideological matrices of philosophical idealism and vitalism, nationalism and political anti-liberal romanticism.
