The monograph is devoted to pressing theoretical and legal issues of environmental protection in cities. In it, on the basis of the author's methodological approach to the environment in cities as a single natural and social system, the conceptual apparatus, goals and principles of legal protection of the environment in cities are successively investigated. To identify the patterns of legal protection, the history of the formation, formation and development of legal regulation of environmental protection in cities is considered. The author offers a model of the effective functioning of the organizational and legal mechanism for the protection and improvement of the environment in cities. In order to improve the legal protection of environmental components in cities, the author turns to the regime of their legal protection. The conceptual conclusions and suggestions made in the work can be the basis for improving the legal regulation of environmental protection in cities and improving its condition, developing environmental policies, improving the quality of life of the population in cities, as well as further scientific research.
