Volume III presents all the works by V. K. Arseniev of the pre-revolutionary period (1906-1917) not only printed - monographs and articles - but also archival materials (service reports, reports, drafts), many of which are unknown even to specialists and have been published for the first time. Volume IV presents texts by V.K. Arseniev of the post-revolutionary period of his activity (1918-1930). In the 1920s, V.K.Arseniev wrote most of his works, took part in the economic development of the Far East and in drawing up the first five-year plans.
