Complaints can be attributed to the field of life in which people, government and society operate. This collection of sources publishes anonymous letters from the Lithuanian nomenclature to Moscow, the apparatus of the Central Committee of the CPSU, which report on the mistakes and sins of the leaders of Soviet Lithuania, their connections and received bribes, the influence of their wives and the power to change the fate of party figures. The supervisors in Moscow at that time investigated the received complaints by clarifying whether the letters mentioned real facts, wrote certificates and rulings, which formed a kind of file of a specific complaint. Almost all the investigation materials of these complaints are stored in Moscow archives. This is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the behind-the-scenes, secret mechanisms of influence and power of Soviet-era nomenclature.
