The book tells its readers about the eight people out of the hundreds of the most respectable sons of Russia. All of them were commanders of the Russian special military units of different levels. Half of them became generals, six of them became Heroes of the Soviet Unions and Russia. Unfortunately, two of them died. This story is about people who had unusual, full of bright and triumphal fates, about the courageous and the brave who keep the good customs and traditions of our ancestors. In the twentieth century this was put into words: “First, think about your Motherland, then about yourself.”
