The 1st volume contains the book of verse “Satires and Lyrics” by a great Russian poet S.Cherny, and his poems of 1905-1916. The 2d volume includes the “Emigrant Uyezd”, as well as poems and verses, written in 1917-1932. The 3d volume presents the “Muddle-Grass’ (1904-1932), “Satire in Prose”, “Boomerang”, “Soldiers' Tales”, “Articles and Pamphlets”, “About Literature”. The 4th volume contains “Stories for Grown-ups”, stories written in Russia, “Non-Serious Stories” and “Emigrant Stories” not included in the book. The 5th volume includes his fourth book of verse “Children's Island” (1911-1932), and Cherny’s poems, tales and stories for children.
