Due to the captivating appearance of Latvian theater and film actress Astrid Kairisa (1941–2021), many photos of her from films and performances have acquired their own value, so they are images that can be kept in front of your eyes as a testament to the beauty of a person, even if you have not seen the works from which they came. Films with Astrid Kairisa's participation are available, but photos and recordings of performances are embedded in the theater archive, so about her, like about many other outstanding actors, it can be said that nothing remains of the actor's life, except for the emotional imprint that has left an impression on thousands of viewers.
The book consists of 160 pages, where on one side each has a photo of the actress, one for each year of her life, and on the other – a sketch of the most important thing in this year. The reader gets to know Kairisa – an actress and Astrida – a woman from the first to the last day of their lives. The book is published with the support of the State Cultural Capital Foundation.
