The climber's records, Stipe Bozic's new, sixth book is certainly his biggest writing challenge so far because, along with descriptions of climbing adventures and travelogues, it is also a step into something new. It is a book like no one in our country has written yet, because in it Bozic, writing his relationship to the mountains from childhood to the present day and following all the steps along the way, actually wrote an autobiography that is somewhat fragmentary, but still gives an insight into the entirety of his life. Growing up in Zavojani below the mountain of St. Mihovil, moving to Split, first hiking trips, first alpinist ascents and the passion and energy with which they dominated his life, military service, work in a Split construction company, navigating on a ship, work in Sudan, employment on Croatian television, dedicated service in The mountain rescue service, first marriage, second marriage, relationships with children, all the greatest successes, but also all the tragedies that happened to him - all this is described in this book. Some of these events are shown extensively and in detail, while others are given only as impressive sketches, but in Penjac's records, Stipe Bozic told his entire life. And he presented his life philosophy and beliefs that guided him through that extraordinary life. He did it with skill as a writer, giving us an authentic and exciting piece of text about an authentic and exciting life and confirming once again that he is gifted with many talents. One of them is certainly the writing one.
