The third volume of “Chronicle of life and work of A.P. Chekhov” includes materials covering the life and work of Anton Chekhov from May 1, 1891 till December 31, 1894. The most important events in the writer's biography of the period were his moving from Moscow, the acquisition of Melikhovo country estate in Serpukhov district and strong community life - famine relief, work as a doctor.
