This collection of Christmas stories from South West Africa and Namibia aims to present cheerful and contemplative, experiences from childhood, the war years, the pioneering period, the true and the truth-inspired. A large part of the stories were written after a call in the "Heimat", the almost 75 year old church newspaper of our German Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia (DELK) and made available for this book. Other stories come from old editions of “Heimat”, the illustrations by the southwestern artist Joachim Voigts.
