On May 29, 2018, the opening ceremony of the XXIV International Cyril and Methodius Readings on the theme “Christianity as an Integrating Factor of World Culture” was held in the conference hall of the Minsk City Hall. The annual Cyril and Methodius Readings is a forum that for more than twenty years brings together experts and scholars from Belarus and neighboring countries working in the field of theology, history, philosophy, cultural studies and religious studies. The readings are a unique platform for discussing scientific works and research in the field of humanitarian knowledge, as well as discussing the problems of intercultural and interfaith dialogue, Christian spirituality and its significance for the modern world. This year, more than 100 people were invited to participate in the Readings, including scientists from the CIS countries and abroad.
