The first collective monograph series edited by Rima Kovaleva (BSU) and Vyacheslav Kalatseya (BGUK) includes materials of twenty internationally known, as well as promising young researchers dedicated to driving the ceremony and burial of "boom", which is held annually in a number of related historical and ethnographic regions of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, and in Belarus - officially included in the list of historical and cultural values of the country. A series founded in 2018 soon have to systematically summarize the nearly 30-year experience of successful work of teaching and research laboratory of BSU Belarusian folklore and 15 years of experience in the Department of Ethnology and Folklore BGUK (on the Protection and periodic revival among the most iconic elements of the art of oral tradition Belarusians) with current trends of nation studies today.
