The publication is dedicated to one of the most famous and massive German editions of the incunabula period - "The Book of Chronicles" by Hartmann Schedel from Nuremberg in 1493. The history of the creation of the "Book of Chronicles", its content, historiography are considered. The article presents the results of a study of a copy of the chronicle stored in the fund of the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, an electronic copy of which is placed on a CD.
