The present book suggests a totally new view on the Russian history, as well as on the modern state of the country. It is proved that Russia’s history was created by the Russian nation, which is first of all, a community by birth. Russian history is represented from an unusual point of view: existing facts and observations are reappraised, the key theses of the previous historiography are reviewed. The author follows the logic of Russian history, suggests innovative interpretations of the revolutions, discovers Russian constants of the outer world’s perception, analyzes dramatic consequences of the transformations, which occurred in the last twenty years, and characterizes a new type of conflict in the modern world.
