The dictionary is aimed at "purifying" the Russian language from foreign borrowings. The author stands for finding the origins of Russain words "distorted" by foreign explanations. According to the author's point of view, Judaic Christianity was the strongest enemy of Slavonic culture and pagan traditions. The editor claims that Christianity changed meanings of a number of words and tries to provide the reader with true sense of many words, expressions and word combinations.
