New Slovak edition of the Bible with unique photographs of a rare Slovak cultural monument! The Bible, the book of books, the world's most frequently published publication, is now published in a unique edition. It includes unique photographs of an extraordinary work of art, which is located in Slovakia, in the Basilica of St. James in Levoсa. It is the tallest late Gothic winged altar in the world and its author is the carver Master Pavol from Levoсa. The altar was photographed by the world-famous Czech photographer Jan William Drnek. Using special techniques and the latest technologies, he took unique pictures that give the viewer the feeling that he is not looking at a photograph, but at a real three-dimensional object. The images show even the smallest details of the sculptures. Equally brilliant are the colours with which the altar is adorned, especially the gold, which is authentic and natural. The largest photograph of the entire altar consists of 144 shots composed into one large panoramic image.
