The monograph is dedicated to the comprehensive study of Belarusians in Argentina: the study of their identification, the disclosure of adaptation problems, the characteristics of social and political activity. The evolution of immigrants' self-awareness, the influence of their culture, religious affiliation, ideas about the homeland and pro-Soviet orientation is traced. The main attention is given to the social and political activities of Belarusians, including the bright period of the 1940s, when pro-Soviet immigrants took an active political position: they participated in the campaign to help the USSR and in the Slavic movement in Argentina; the cultural and social activity of Belarusians in the second half of the 20th - beginning of the 21st century is analyzed.
