The unique collection contains poems published in Russia several times, as well as the essays by the outstanding modern Irish poet - Nobel Prize Laureate Seamus Justin Heaney (born in 1939) - published for the first time. The literary topics he chooses are various: from medieval Irish Lyric poetry to William Bates and James Joyce, from modern English authors to Joseph Brodsky. The book is complemented with his Nobel lecture, reflections about the destiny of poetry in the XXIth century “Live Again: Poetry and Century” and collected poems from his first collection “The Death of Naturalist” (1966) to his last one “Change for Koltsevaya” (2007).
