The authors of the book, Bohdan Levyk and Tigran Arutyunov, conducted research on Armenians on the basis of archival documents of the Security Service of Ukraine for about four years. The authors managed to find archival criminal cases against Armenians known and unknown in the period 1939-1946 in the archives of Lviv and Kyiv. The authors covered the main aspects of Armenian history through the prism of the Armenian Catholic Church, Armenian National Committees, Armenian military legions, famous Armenians of the city, as well as photocopies of authentic archival documents, photographs and personal impressions obtained by visiting Armenian places.
