This catalog presents one of the most brilliant epochs of modern Armenian book art, during the years 1928-1935, when the fiction department of the State Publishing House of Armenia was headed by the great poet, writer, and translator Yeghlshe Charents (1897-1937). The publication includes materials from the exhibitions "The Charents Book: Kojoyan, Khachvankyan, Arutchyan" (Yerevan, M. Sarian House-Museum, 2022-2023) as well as "Martiros Sarian: Book and Art" (Yerevan, National Gallery of Armenia, 2022-2023), which collectively document the artistic phenomenon the author term “Armenian book art of the "Charents Era".
