Based on the analysis of the identified scientific sources, the history of the emergence of monasteries of the Order of St. Basil the Great in Ukraine is reflected and the territorial boundaries of their distribution are determined. In the course of the study, a typology of the planning and spatial solution of the Basilian monasteries was developed and the features of their architectural and spatial structure were determined. Much attention is paid to the history and architectural features, in particular, of the Onufrievsky monastery in Lvov, the monastery in Belz in the Lviv region, the monastery of the Nativity of Christ in Zhovkva, the Pochaev Lavra, the monastery in Buchach, the Hoshevsky monastery, and the Nikolaevsky monastery in Mukachevo.
