This 3-volume publication creates a full picture of architectural monuments of Russia. The white book lists the world known monuments that miraculously survived World War II: The Kremlin of Moscow, Petergof, the Catherine Palace, the Temple of the Saviour on Nereditsa and others. But not all of the survived monuments have been restored and are being preserved. These abundant architectural masterpieces are treated in the red book. The black book contains photographs of a great number of monuments thoughtlessly destroyed in different periods of Russia's history.
