The Petrus Brovka Belarusian Encyclopedia Publishing House has for the first time in Belarus released a unique edition - a photo album “Watercolor. Belarusian watercolor painting ". The book was prepared by Belarusian watercolor artist, art critic, teacher Vladimir Rynkevich. At the moment, there is not a single publication in our country dedicated to modern Belarusian watercolors. The last "watercolor" album was released more than 40 years ago. Despite the fact that watercolor due to its accessibility and democracy today has gained extraordinary popularity in the widest circles both in our country and abroad, the Belarusian audience is unfamiliar with the works of leading domestic watercolorists.
The book presents the works of leading Belarusian watercolor artists, as well as popularly, clearly tells about the history, theory and current state of Belarusian watercolor, the leading trends in its development, the main creative styles and directions. The modern edition includes more than 200 works by 65 leading Belarusian watercolorists, as well as a rich reference and bibliographic material.
The text of the book is presented in three languages - Belarusian, Russian and English.
