The offered album-monograph was prepared according to the decision of Academy of Sciences of Tajik SSR Presidium in connection with the 1200th anniversary of the great scientist-encyclopaedist of the East Mukhammed al-Khorezmi. The work is the joint soviet-indian edition. The book includes collection of geographic maps as reconstruction of al-Khorezm’s geographic world map that, unfortunately, hasn’t been saved till the present days.
