The manuscript of the Adishy Gospels is the oldest dated monument. It was created at the end of the 9th century, in the year 897. In the present edition the problems of determine the critical text according to only one manuscript are viewed in a quite new way. The problem of tracing the provenance of the Georgian translation of the Adyshi manuscripts on the basis of a consistent liguistic analysis of the text was raised.
